Embroidered patch shows emblem of GROM. Patch made of computerized embroidery technique, on a black background with black frame and red oblique stripe in the middle. Also in the middle emblem have brown eagle with golden lightning. Arc made of computerized embroidery technique, on a black background with black frame and white letters: GROM is Poland's elite counter-terrorism unit. It was officially activated on July 13, 1990. It is deployed in a variety of special operations and unconventional warfare roles, including anti-terrorist operations and projection of force behind enemy lines.
