More info

Embroidered patch shows coat of arms of Northern Ireland. Patch made on a white background. Big red cross with white star and hand in the middle with golden crown in the upper part.

The coat of arms of Northern Ireland was conferred by King George V in August 1924. The basic symbol on the coat of arms of Northern Ireland is the cross of Saint George in a white field. In the center of the cross is a six-pointed star, whose arms are the symbol of six counties, and above it is the British royal crown. The star has the red right hand symbol (The Red Right), which is the symbol of Ulster (province of Ireland).
