Turkey - embroidered Patch made using the computer embroidery technique, finished with red border.

The symbolism of the Turkish flag is explained in the legend of the Turkish-Greek war (1920-1922). After fierce fighting, Turkish soldiers sought their fallen comrades at night on the battlefield. They found them in pools of blood. The moon and the polar star shone brightly. The Turkish flag was officially adopted in 1936.
