Lancashire coat of arms-shield

Also, the red narrow and wide strips.Three roses with green leaves-two on the upper part and one on the lower part.The red rose was originally a symbol of Lancaster, and have been invented by Henry VII and called "Tudor Rose" Initially Lancashire coat of arms had  another colour of background-red rose on white background.But as the Scottish town of Montrose had already registered a flag with a red rose and white background. So The traditional red rose of Lancashire has turned yellow for the 21st century. Lancashire  is a non-metropolitan ceremonial county in north west England on the shores of the Irish Sea. The county town is Lancaster although the county's administrative centre is Preston. The county has a population of 1,449,300 and an area of 1,189 square miles (3,080 km2)
